Call for Entries
The Media Arts Council (MAC) of Media, Pennsylvania, held its first Film Festival in February, 2008. Owing to its great success then and in 2009 and 2010, we are continuing it a fourth year. The Call for Entries continues to be directed to local, national and international filmmakers. We have set the date and are now calling for entries from local and other filmmakers.
Respecting the mission of the MAC, Media and Delaware County resident directors, producers and artists will be given a special category of submission. This year the invitation is open in four classifications to other entrants as well.
Films will be accepted in four categories -- Narrative, Documentary, Animation, Experimental, and three lengths -- Feature Length (40 to 90 minutes), Short (5 to 40 minutes) and Short-Short (under 5 minutes).
Each entry will be reviewed and judged by at least three members of the MAC and Film Festival Committee, which includes artists, filmmakers, film enthusiasts, and film critics. The criteria for judging will be a standard evaluation, including the following categories: theme, writing, plot, direction, acting, cinematography and music. (Read More...)
