The Media Arts Council thanked sponsors and enjoyed two musical acts; first the Mansfield Brass Band, and Adelante played at the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union. Just next door at the Coffee Beanery was featured artist Gail Hartley-Freedman.

Mansfield Brass
The Main Event includes free, live musical performances at the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union. Performing at 6:30pm will be the Mansfield Brass Band, a traditional brass quintet from Landsdowne, PA, playing several styles of music including classical, jazz, show tunes, patriotic songs, turn-of-the-20th-century popular, and more.
Adelante
At 7pm until 8:15, Adelante will take the stage. Their style has been termed “music without boundaries.” With roots in the improvisational approaches of Modern Jazz and Classical Music, the artists describe their work as “a musical brew that knows no musical boundaries…relishing in the challenge, that all musical styles can be complimentary and weaved together to create something musically and sonically beautiful, new and unique.”

The featured artist this month is Gayle Hartley-Freedman, whose paintings will be exhibited at The Coffee Beanery. Hartley-Freedman says of her art, "People, especially faces, infinitely fascinating and diverse, challenge and inspire my art making. Primarily using pencil, oils or watercolor, I endeavor to capture the essence of what makes each of us unique". As visitors experience her paintings, they can also enjoy live guitar and mandolin music by The Dollar Band from 7:30-9:30.
