7:30-8:30 The Loose Marbles
New Orleans Jazz

“In addition to their song selection and their remarkably tight and vibrant musicianship, two things particularly excite me about the Loose Marbles. One is how carefully thought out their act is; their inter-war, Mitteleuropean flavor is somehow more than accidental and less than shtick”. - The New Yorker

2nd Saturday Main Event:
9:00-10:20 Daryl Davis
Jazz and Blues Piano

“Whether a searing Blues or a pounding Boogie Woogie, Daryl practices what he preaches; to make his audience happy. ‘American roots’ signals the arrival of a major blues voice”.

- Barry Lee Pearson, Living Blues Magazine
